Anticipation

I promised that I’ll never be afraid


Will never be faint

Instead, I’ll be ready to face

Every piece of obstructions

I thought that I can

But the confidence lost out

The sudden intimacy gave me

A wrong perception

I thought our feeling is mutual

But that was a simple lunacy

Till now, it’s just an aspiration
